Hoy a las 12 del mediodía, Gerardo Ortíz estreno su nuevo video “Mujer De Piedra” en Internet por VEVO depues de lanzar el video ayer por television en Primer Impacto.

Desde el lanzamiento de este éxito hace tres meses, la anticipación ha estado aumentando para el estreno de su video. Ahora la popularidad de “Mujer de Piedra” la ha llevado al No. 1 en el listado Regional Mexican Airplay de Billboard por segunda semana consecutiva.

Con este video, Gerardo Ortíz otra vez nos deleita con la creatividad y la alta calidad de su obra.

Filmado en noviembre 2013 en Santa Susana, Calif., bajo la dirección de Carlos Pérez (Elastic People), este cortometraje de 5 minutos y 42 segundos nos llena de sentimientos y muestra otra faceta a esta canción escrita por el mismo Gerardo Ortíz.

Al fin, vemos el rostro de la protagonista de “Mujer de Piedra,” y vemos que a ella le queda muy bien el papel de villana. Con sus enredos peligrosos, gana muy bien el apodo de “Mujer de Piedra.”

Entre el whisky, los autos deportivos y la pasión, nos hacemos testigos del lado oscuro de la vida loca.

Siendo la voz de la joven generación mexicana y mexico-americana, Gerardo Ortíz extiende su dominio sobre el género regional mexicano con este sencillo, que forma parte de su cuarto álbum de estudio,Archivos de mi Vida, el cual se editó el 25 de noviembre, y llegó al No. 1 en ventas.

Muy pronto Gerardo Ortíz se presentará otra vez ante millones de televidentes, a través del Premio Lo Nuestro 2014 este 20 de febrero por Univisión, donde cantará “Mujer de Piedra” en vivo. Él está nominado en las categorías de Artista Masculino del Año, Artista Norteño del Año y Canción del Año.

Además, los finalistas de los Premios Billboard 2014 se acaban de anunciar, y Gerardo Ortíz podría ocupar a un “trokero lokochón” para llevar todas sus nominaciones, que suman a seis – Compositor del Año; Canción del Año, Regional Mexicano (“Dámaso”); Solista del Año, Regional Mexicano – Canciones; Solista del Año, Regional Mexicano – Álbumes; Artista Masculino del Año – Álbumes; Compañía Discográfica del Año (BadSin).

La entrega de los Premios Billboard 2014 se llevará a cabo este 24 de abril y se transmitirá en vivo por Telemundo.
Disfruta de “Mujer de Piedra,” que llegará a ocupar un lugar muy privilegiado en la videografía de Gerardo Ortíz.
